Why Manage and Reduce Stress?
There are basic genetic and instinctive programs built into each and everyone of us. Right now most of us are highly
stressed and functioning much below our potential because of the stress response.
These instinctive programs will run on automatically regardless of the ‘wishing’ that the world were better than it is. So
the choice is:
1. Do we do the same thing over and over again hoping for different results? … (And get more and more
stressed!)

When we are stressed our mental, emotional and physical functioning is compromised.
When we are ‘normal’ then most activities are quite easy to do… you know this from your experience,
right? When you wake up refreshed, full of energy then most everything you do is easy and rewarding. (When was the last time you felt
‘normal’?)
The Zone!
The next level is ‘The Zone’ or living an Exceptional Life. One that time seems to slow down so that you are able to see,
hear and sense things that were ‘invisible’ to you before because you were so distracted (or stressed). You make better choices
because your ‘processing’ is at a higher level. You communicate better because you listen and respond better. You sleep better
because your mind is quiet and your body is more relaxed. You let go of emotions that no longer serve you… and
you chose positive feeling states.
